Lindsay found this photo at Vineyard Colors and they were nice enough to let her use the image! It perfectly illustrates her and Aaron's style. See the ferry in the background?! Too cute!
She even added a sticker for her guests' calendars which I think is such a cute idea!
For my save the dates, I collected vintage Martha's Vineyard postcards from wherever I could find them, most came from eBay. Then I ordered a couple custom stamps, one from my handwriting with the details of the wedding and one of a faux postmark from Oak Bluffs with our wedding date in it.
Just a couple of examples! I think I send out at least 6 six different postcards! |
What did you or will you spend on save the dates? Do you think they need to compliment/match the style of the wedding?
That’s just wonderful!! I am eagerly looking forward to watch their wedding photographs. I just got engaged at one of domestic Boston venues. I like the theme that your sister is going to have in her wedding and I would like to use that in my wedding too!
ReplyDeleteHello - I love the save the date post cards. I did check eBay and thought costs for $5 ish per vintage post card. Thank you.

I got a lot of the postcards in lots on eBay. that was much more affordable. I also found a bunch at the thrift store on Chicken Alley in Vibeyard Haven for a steal. When I got desperate I did spend some money and finished off the stash buying a few select ones on Card ow.com and etsy. It was so fun choosing which card to send to each guest and I really loved how they turned out. The search was not easy but so worth it. Good luck!
